About Course

Physiotherapy is synonymous with the use of the goniometer. However, the world of rehabilitation tools has moved on since the days of the goniometer being our primary tool.

To optimise the rehabilitation of our patients, we need to have objective metrics to accurately access functional capacity. This allows us to be more precise with exercise prescription as well as allowing us to more accurately monitor progress and make good RTP decisions.

With the advances in technology in recent times, “higher end” tools such as dynamometers, force plates and inclinometers are now easily accessible and becoming increasingly affordable.

Join sports physio, Nick Pereira, as he outlines how and why we should start including the use of technology in the rehabilitation of our patients.
