About Course
In this 3-part webinar series, sports physiotherapist, Brett Phillips, outlines the role of the physiotherapist pitch-side in a sporting environment, as well as how to prepare for field-side services, perform on-field acute injury assessments and manage injury in the acute setting. Over and above the clinical components of this series, Brett also discusses the soft-skills required to function well in the team environment, whilst providing optimal medical services.
Little to no time is given to sports physiotherapy at undergraduate level. It is a complex, highly-pressurised environment, that if you are not prepared for, will overwhelm you. This course’s aim is to arm physiotherapists who currently or in future would like to work in sport, with the necessary knowledge and skills to prepare them for the role.
