In January 2022, we are launching our annual Comm Serve Support Initiative, in partnership with Enhanced Physiotherapy.

In 2021, this initiative was started to help Community Service Physiotherapist’s in South Africa integrate into the profession. An online forum discussion was held, which acted as an information session and general meet-and-greet for all of the Comm Servers that signed-up for the initiative. After this, each Comm Server was provided with a qualified physiotherapist mentor, who would be available to assist them with clinical and professional guidance throughout the course of the year. In addition to this, to assist in the upskilling of these Comm Server’s they were provided with a 25% Comm Serve Discount to facilitate ongoing learning and professional development throughout the course of the year.

In our first year of the initiative, we had more than 60 Comm Servers signed up, who received ongoing professional mentorship and guidance! A lot of the feedback we’ve had has been positive, with our mentors playing significant roles in our Comm Server’s years, as well as their post Comm Serve employment prospects.

This year, we’re doing it all again! The initiative kicks off with the Online Forum Discussion on 31 January 2022 at 19h00.
