Concussion: Clinical Assessment and Evidence-Based Management

Concussion is a common sports-related injury that requires careful clinical assessment and appropriate management to support recovery and reduce the risk of further injury. Clinicians working with athletes need to be able to recognise concussion, perform an appropriate assessment and make informed decisions regarding activity, rehabilitation and return to sport.

Concussion: Clinical Assessment and Evidence-Based Management provides clinicians with an evidence-based framework for the assessment and management of concussion. The course explores the clinical presentation of concussion, current approaches to assessment and the principles underpinning contemporary concussion management.

Emphasis is placed on practical clinical application, equipping clinicians with strategies to recognise concussion, identify features requiring further medical assessment, develop appropriate rehabilitation plans and support a safe, individualised return to sport.
