Spondyloarthropathies are a group of inflammatory rheumatic conditions that can present with persistent spinal or peripheral pain, stiffness and functional limitation. Their clinical presentation can overlap with more common musculoskeletal conditions, making recognition of key features particularly important for physiotherapists and other clinicians.
Spondyloarthropathies: Pathophysiology, Clinical Assessment and Evidence-Based Management provides clinicians with an evidence-based framework for understanding, assessing and managing patients with spondyloarthropathies. The course explores the underlying pathophysiology, clinical presentation and disease characteristics, with emphasis on recognising patterns that may indicate an inflammatory rather than mechanical presentation.
Emphasis is placed on practical clinical application, equipping clinicians with strategies to identify relevant clinical features, support appropriate referral and provide evidence-based physiotherapy management within a multidisciplinary model of care.
