Donne is a physiotherapist who has worked in the field of paediatric neurodevelopment therapy for her entire career of 36 years.
She is currently a SANDTA tutor and presents both the Foundation and Introduction to CP course.
She is an advocate for children living with disabilities and their families.
Brett is a physiotherapist specialising in the management of neuromusculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions.
Dr Rae is a Senior Researcher in the Division of Exercise Science and Sports Medicine within the Department of Human Biology, Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Cape Town (UCT). Her research focuses on sleep and circadian rhythms (i.e. the body’s 24h clock).
Helene is a physiotherapist with international renown in the assessment and treatment of foot and ankle pathologies. After graduating with a BSc Physiotherapy degree from the University of Free State in 1984, Helene then completed a BSc Med (Hons) in Sports Science at UCT in 1990. From there Helene became the Chief Physiotherapist at the UCT Sports Injuries Centre, subsequently taking over the ownership of the practice from 1997.
Nicole is a physiotherapist specialising in neuromusculoskeletal, orthopaedic and sports-related conditions. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy in 2014, as well as her MSc Exercise & Sports Physiotherapy Degree in 2020, both at UCT and with distinction.
Lance is a Chartered Accountant who has run his own accounting, tax and consulting business.
He has also worked in the private sector, covering the Petroleum, FMCG, Agricultural, Wholesale and Retail industries, both locally and internationally.
Jeremy is a Director of Private Client Financial, the accounting and tax division of Private Client Holdings. Private Client Holdings is a Cape Town based wealth management company who has recently been awarded the Top Wealth Manager of the Year Award (boutique firm category) in the Financial Mail Investors Monthly – Wealth Managers & Private Banks Awards based on extensive research conducted by Intellidex.
Rowan is an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (APP) working in London.
He graduated with his B.Sc in Physiotherapy from UCT in 2011 before going on to complete his M.Phil in Exercise and Sports Physiotherapy in 2017, where he was awarded a distinction for his dissertation.
Lomé Prinsloo is the owner of Lomé Prinsloo Physiotherapy, in Durbanville, Cape Town.
Lomé started our her career in healthcare as a certified pilates instructor, but after working with many clients in pain, she decided to study physiotherapy.
Dr Steve Carter is an orthopaedic hand surgeon with 20 years’ experience in the surgical treatment of hand conditions. He obtained his MBChB in 1990 and FCS (SA) Orthopaedic Fellowship in 1999. He is also a Gold Medal Fellowship Candidate (Top Orthopaedic Candidate in South Africa).
Alison qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Cape Town in 2007 and obtained her PhD at UCT in 2017.
She is currently a full-time lecturer in the Division of Physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University.
